A quick note…

The promotional week for ‘Coal House’ in the UK is over, with a week of promotion in the Amazon.com store to follow. Since the start of this week, the book was in the top 50 best sellers for Suspense/Ghost stories and towards the end of it it got into – and stayed in – the top 20 for some time, even getting into and staying in the top 10 for a while (at the time of writing, it’s still at number 9, a good half a day since the promotion ended).

As I wrote on this blog earlier this week, the book was written with no expectations, so for it to have done so well, and particularly for as many people to have said that they’ve enjoyed it has been so amazing. There are too many people to thank individually, just about every single one of my friends and family have taken it upon themselves to share and help spread the word, and also get a copy – everyone collectively is responsible for making my debut novel become a best-seller, which is a statement I never thought I would write! (But, the topic of ‘who to thank’ has given me inspiration for the next post for this website)

Thank you so much!
