What’s On

One of the things I’m mostly asked – and particularly so with the turn of the year – is what I’m working on for the next 12 months.

It’s always an interesting thing for me because, as it usually transpires, something completely unpredictable happens. If I’d been asked each January for the last three or four years I’d never have been able to tell how the following year would pan out.

But, for now, here’s what is on my plate.

There are two completed autobiographies I have worked on that should be released in the first half of the year, certainly 2016.

As it stands, for the first time in a few years, I have no soccer autobiographies planned. Instead, there is a rather interesting soccer project on the table, and hopefully I will be able to share that soon.

‘Coal House’ is still doing well – it has jumped into the top 75 best sellers in the US Amazon charts, on the back of its spell in the top 10 in the UK charts. A sentence I barely believed I’d ever write – I may have signing events for this in Wales and England to share information about shortly.

There are a number of other irons in the fire that aren’t quite ready to share proper information about, simply because it’s not time.

But I do have one further piece of news, and that is concerning a trilogy of books connected to a series I have been writing. I have completed one manuscript and I’m close to starting with purpose on the second, with the outline for the third all prepared, and speculative ideas for others in the ‘brand’. I have been talking with a publisher about the entire series being published and early signs look positive; as soon as I have something concrete to share, I will.

I wonder how much of this will reflect my 2016 come December 31st. Thanks for reading!
