For many people who wish to write a book but for whatever reason find themselves unable to, a ghost writer provides the best solution.
Do you wish to write your memoirs but don’t know where to start? Do you need a writer for a project and would prefer to utilise someone with experience? Perhaps you would enjoy working with someone with a reputation for bringing out the best in their subjects?
There are many reasons why someone would choose to work with a ghost writer or hire a writer for their chosen project.
I am always on the lookout for interesting projects and people to work with – be it celebrities, intriguing non-fiction, ghost writing fiction, ‘ordinary’ folk with extra-ordinary services, and collaborative works.
Please contact me on media (at) waynebartonbooks.com to enquire about working together.
Working With Me
I am a best-selling and critically acclaimed ghost writer, fiction and non-fiction author, and soccer columnist.
I have worked in various locations in the United Kingdom and United States and my books have been featured on and reviewed by the likes of The Guardian, BBC, The Independent, The Times, The Daily Mail, Sky Sports, Daily Mirror, Professional Players’ Magazine, and many more.
Why hire someone to write?
This is the digital age. It’s never been easier to write and have your work published online. Companies want content and they want it by the bucketload. If you want to hire a ghost writer all you need to do is type in the phrase into any good search engine and you’ll find a few. It may be easier to find them but it also means that as a prospective customer, you are entering a potential minefield.
There are many reasons why you may require a ghost writer. Perhaps you have tried to write your autobiography or story and have hit dead ends. Or you feel it needs work. Maybe you have ideas for a non-fiction or fiction project and don’t know how to begin. It could be that you simply don’t have the time.
Did you know that the average person can speak up to 145-160 words per minute? A professional typist can type between 50-80 words a minute. And, obviously, it stands to reason then that transcribing and editing is a slower process. It’s much easier, and quicker, to talk a book than it is to write one. A ghost writer can take thoughts and ideas and transform them into engaging content. They can use their perception to articulate an idea and express it more colourfully or powerfully.
Every project is different and has its individual needs. I have ghost written a number of autobiographies and you may think that the process would be the same, but each one has had its significant differences. The same goes for the non-fiction books that I either wrote myself or have been commissioned to work on. If I can feel engaged and connected to an idea then I can feel confident about transforming that onto the page into – hopefully – interesting content.
I feel that my greatest strengths can be found in the articulation and expression of feelings; I like to connect to capture the true personality and put that onto paper.
If you have an idea for a story or a book, or if you’ve been working on something and feel that you now need to acquire the services of a ghost writer, get in touch at the email address listed above to discuss further.
From the moment you contact me, you will be treated with the highest level of professionalism and courtesy. I take great pride in my work and I value long-lasting professional relationships, and, subsequently, friendships I have made.
