The official soundtrack to Peach is a project almost three years in the making; almost as long as it took to write the book!
In early 2016 author Wayne Barton approached actor Charles Baker (Breaking Bad, Wild) to ask if he wanted to collaborate on an ambitious project; throughout Peach, the pages are decorated with the song lyrics of the characters Hal Granger and Freddie Ward.
Charles has taken them from the page and brought them to life in an original experimental soundtrack.
Absolute Music Chat said of the soundtrack : “…having had the privilege of hearing a couple of the songs that will be on the Peach soundtrack I have to say he (Baker) has a gorgeous singing voice, it has almost a vulnerability feel to it which fits the lyrics and the music very well…”
The soundtrack was written and recorded in Los Angeles from 2016 to 2018 and was produced by Alec Milewski and Charles Baker.
